As 2014 draws to a close, Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) is meeting travelers' New Year's Eve travel needs,From Wednesday, December 31, 2014 (103/12/31), to Monday, January 5, 2015 (104/1/5), TRA will add a total of 304 additional train services across all lines.

This New Year’s Day, the public will enjoy a four-day holiday, and many have already started planning their New Year’s Eve celebrations. Starting December 31, TRA will operate extra services for six consecutive days, including 45 New Year’s Eve celebration trains, 119 Tzu-Chiang Limited Express services on the Eastern Line (including the South-Link Line), 52 Chu-Kuang Express services, and 24 Fu-Hsing and local trains, totaling 195 services. On the Western Line, there will be 37 Tzu-Chiang services, 34 Chu-Kuang services, and 38 local trains, totaling 109 services.

※ In addition, TRA has partnered with the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration to launchthe “Sanxiantai Sunrise Shines on the New Year” cruise-style train, with ticket booking opening at 9:00 AM on November 28. For more information, please visit the TRA cruise-style train website.
