The 2014 Taipei Expo Park Flower Festival series exhibition “Taipei Outdoor Landscape Design Exhibition” grandly opened on November 1st, opening up this beautiful landscape design work next to the Pop-up Pavilion of the Taipei Expo Park for public viewing and experience, allowing the public to freely enjoy this meticulously planned tranquil space,The works will be on display until February 28, 2015.

This exhibition specially invited award-winning teams from previous years to jointly design and plan. In addition to expanding the scope, it also incorporates practical design, allowing visitors to truly walk into the space. The uniquely designed landscape pathways, enhanced with lighting effects, and the clever arrangement of scenic trees and plantings are sure to amaze the public. Whether in daylight or at night, visitors can step into the park to appreciate the various different landscape styles in detail.

The design exhibition area is divided into two major sections. One is the Southeast Asian-style landscape designed by Lin Cheng-de of Yixin Garden Co., Ltd., featuring simple and playful lines. At the end of the water cascade pool, various colorful flowers extend out. Additionally, by the lotus pond, in collaboration with master sculptor Wang Xiuqi, a little boy figure named “Huanxi” is carved resting against a rock, adding a touch of childlike fun to this small urban courtyard that recreates a Southeast Asian resort vibe!
