Winter has arrived, and it's not just the season for cherry and plum blossoms—it's also tulip season. Starting every January, vast fields of tulips burst into bloom across the Taoyuan Fairy Valley, showcasing a dazzling array of colors including pink, purple, red, and yellow... With dozens of hues, approximately 30-plus varieties, and as many as 600,000 tulips blooming all at once, they form a rainbow-colored sea of flowers. Layer upon layer of vibrant shades weaves together a richly colorful tapestry, attracting travelers from near and far to experience this uniquely romantic spectacle.

Taoyuan Fairy Valley is located in Changxing Village, Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, nestled within the mountainous border area between Taoyuan City and Hsinchu County. Covering approximately 200 hectares, it preserves the pristine natural landscape of the mountains, including 100 hectares of afforestation, 20,000 ornamental mountain cherry and plum trees, over 2,000 species of herbaceous plants and shrubs, and more. The floral scenery here changes year after year, and nearly all varieties of tulips found around the world can be seen here. With different shapes and colors, set against the valley terrain of Taoyuan Fairy Valley, they create an ever-changing, colorful floral carpet. In addition to tulips, the valley is also home to over 3,000 plum trees that gradually come into bloom leading up to the Lunar New Year. Soon after, more than 10,000 camellia flowers burst into bloom, transforming the fairy valley into a dreamlike wonderland—making it a perfect destination for spring outings.
