With the advent of globalization, international tourism and trade have become increasingly frequent. However, in recent years, aviation safety incidents have occurred more often, adding an extra layer of concern before we set off. In the past, all it took was deciding on a destination, buying a ticket, and setting off—but now, more people want to know about an airline’s safety record to help them decide which flight to take.

This selection included a total of 449 airlines worldwide. Based on seven criteria—including regulations from the International Civil Aviation Organization, audits by civil aviation authorities, and the airlines’ safety records—the list was narrowed down to 149 airlines that scored full marks in all evaluation categories. A second round of rigorous assessment was then conducted to evaluate these airlines’ overall services, including operations and safety, ultimately selecting the world’s top ten safest airlines.
