The Carnival at The Venetian Macao: 4 Million Volt Live Current Show Makes a Dazzling Debut

The Venetian Macao is once again presenting its iconic event – the Carnival at The Venetian Macao. The free-to-enter spring festival, the Carnival at The Venetian Macao 2015, is now in its fifth consecutive year and will feature festive decorations and a series of world-class street performances at the outdoor lake area of The Venetian Macao from today until March 29. This year, the celebration coincides with St. Patrick’s Day, and special festive activities will be held on that day to celebrate this traditional Irish holiday together with visitors.

The opening ceremony of the Carnival at The Venetian Macao 2015 was held at the outdoor lake area of The Venetian Macao. This marks the fifth consecutive year the festival has brought this uniquely Italian celebration to The Venetian Macao. The previous four editions of the Venetian Carnival have been widely praised and have become one of our annual flagship events. Among the highlights, the “Venetian Flash Fire Dance” performance, which debuted at the Carnival at The Venetian Macao last year and quickly became a visitor favorite, returns this year with a brand-new act. It features high-frequency alternating current generated by Tesla coil technology, producing stunning electric arcs. This spectacular performance will see three highly trained performers interacting with 4 million volts of raw electricity – definitely not to be missed!
