The founder of CHECK inn Hostel, Bart, lived in New York for many years and was deeply impressed by the city’s LOFT style. He was also amazed by the creativity, vitality, and enthusiasm that the Big Apple exudes at all times, yet he never forgot the unique warmth and traditional culture of his hometown, Taiwan. Thus, he merged the distinct characteristics of both cities, choosing a location in the old town area a bit away from the bustling downtown, to create a new boutique hotel that blends East and West, old and new. This allows every guest to experience the classic charm of New York and the diverse style of Taiwan all at once.
