The establishment of “Light Hostel Cheng Yi Light Travel” aims to return the perspective of travel back to the travelers themselves, fostering deeper interactions and exchanges between them, making every trip filled with exciting encounters and anticipation. Unlike the Cheng Yi Cultural Tourism brand, which seeks to “provide travelers with diverse local travel perspectives,” Cheng Yi Light Travel hopes to “return the travel perspective to the interactions between travelers.” It encourages guests to inspire more ideas and gain richer experiences from one another.

Light Hostel Cheng Yi Light Travel is primarily designed for young urban Asians aged 18–28, both domestic and international. Considering the convenience of independent travelers, the Chiayi branch is conveniently located on Guangcai Street right in front of Chiayi Railway Station—just a five-minute walk from the station. The hostel offers 19 double rooms and 60 single beds. On regular days, prices start at NT$600 per bed and NT$1,700 for standard rooms. With professional hotel management and services at more affordable rates, it attracts a larger number of young travelers. Additionally, to meet the needs of this younger demographic, Cheng Yi Light Travel places special emphasis on fostering a sense of community and social experiences, encouraging more interaction among guests. The property also prioritizes eco-friendly materials and high self-service elements to embody its independent brand spirit. It also thoughtfully offers coffee, tea, and light snacks around the clock.
