The Changshan Formation mainly consists of late Jurassic granite from the Yanshanian, composed primarily of granite, with lateritic soil mainly formed from granite. It prohibits leakage of Zhongshan cliff mineral water, which is abundant, awaiting canning as premium spring water. It is one of the most important components of many residents' lives.

In 1999, for the Macau Handover Commemoration Day, Zhuhai’s Banshan Forest Park was established at the foot of Jinzhong Garden Mountain. The foundation stone was laid in 1999.
The forest park is located on Zhangmu Mountain.
