Visiting Japan? Trying authentic ramen is an absolute must-do experience on your trip. Starting October 23, Tokyo will host the city’s largest outdoor ramen exhibition, bringing together over 40 ramen shops from Hokkaido to Okinawa—a must-attend event for all ramen lovers.

The annual "Tokyo Ramen Show," which began in 2009, is the largest outdoor ramen exhibition in Tokyo. It features over 40 ramen vendors from Hokkaido to Okinawa, gathering some of Japan’s most popular "regional specialty ramen." During the event, special “collaboration ramen” are also launched as limited-time offerings. By sampling ramen from different regions in one go, the show promotes local culinary culture—offering both excitement and meaningful experiences, making it one of the most anticipated food exhibitions for both domestic and international visitors.

The 2015 Tokyo Ramen Show takes place over 12 days, from October 23 to November 3, at Komazawa Olympic Park Central Field in Setagaya, Tokyo. Entry is free and self-paced, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with each bowl of ramen priced at 850 yen. Pre-sale ramen tickets for the event will also go on sale starting September 1 at 7-Eleven convenience stores across Japan.
