Japan Travel is booming. Targeting the central and southern Taiwan tourism market, China Airlines announced a collaboration with the Tainan City Government to launch new direct flights between Tainan and Osaka at Tainan Airport, with the inaugural flight scheduled for October 28th!

Tainan Airport currently operates two international routes, including the non-Cathay Wednesday and Saturday Wuhan route and the daily direct Hong Kong route,and will add the Tainan–Osaka route starting October 28th.bringing the total number of international routes to three. The flights will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with schedules staggered from the Wuhan route, also fixed onWednesdays and Saturdays in the afternoon.Since 2013, China Airlines has operated Hong Kong flights from Tainan, increasing from three weekly flights to the current daily round-trip service. Now, seeing the potential in southern Taiwan’s tourism market, it is launching the Tainan–Osaka route as well, also adopting a weekly scheduled, round-trip model to make travel between Taiwan and Japan even more convenient!
