Guling Park is a small community park surrounded by dense trees. There are several cherry blossom trees within the park that attract many blossom enthusiasts in spring. Though we didn’t visit during cherry blossom season, the park was still filled with shaded greenery, and the artificial turf playground appeared particularly fresh, resembling a "small forest playground in the city" !

We’ve played on spinning chairs in many specialty park playgrounds, and they’re always very popular with kids. The one at Guling Park looks a bit different, but once you sit on it, you can spin endlessly. It also has a larger seat so two little ones can sit and spin together.
Yo, who loves thrills, started screaming as soon as he sat on the spinning chair. The more rounds it spun, the louder he screamed, as if releasing all his stress at once ! After every ride, we always ask him to walk in a straight line afterward — Mr. Dong joked, “Are we doing a sobriety test?”

Guarded by large trees is the “multi-exploration slide combination.” Surrounded by shade, it’s perfect for summer play without worrying about sun exposure. This set offers lots of fun discoveries, with surprises waiting around every corner — little kids are sure to have a blast !

For big brother Yo, who’s beyond the toddler stage, curiosity drives his interest in tiny details. He quickly climbed the stairs and rushed to the slide, even though it’s short. Slide lovers of all ages still enjoy it !
In addition to the stairs, there are multiple routes to climb up, making it feel like a mini adventure island that tests kids’ exploration skills !
We’ve previously played on “upright rope-climbing equipment” at Tienmu Donghe Park and Linkou Little Bear Park. Guling Park has a similar one, though a bit shorter, which makes it more challenging for toddlers !
Yo, like a brave warrior, was ready to charge the adventure island, using both hands and feet !
The rope mesh has wider gaps, suitable for slightly older kids who can lift their legs higher and enjoy the climbing fun.
There’s even extended play at the top !
Like a little Spider-Man, swing across the ropes to the other side to reach the slide — it feels like an adventurous river crossing. Placing a few toy crocodiles underneath would make it even more realistic.

Haha, is it this comfortable?
There are more challenges waiting for us ahead !
Guling Park’s wooden stump playground has a wood chip surface, and the air carries a faint scent of wood. Walking across the stumps to train balance is quite fun !
After the stumps, there’s more climbing equipment made of ropes and ring bars — a great spot to tire out little monkeys !
After climbing, everyone wants to sit and rest a bit — good kids for the elders.
Next up is the challenge of the least favorite equipment: the horizontal bar. Little weak muscles, come on — let’s see how many bars you can climb !
Connecting back to the previous slide set, a different route leads to new fun. This spiral-shaped equipment is a first for us. Yo used it as a climbing frame, but you can also slide down from it — a totally different way to play !

The Guling Park playground also has horizontal bars.
Fitness equipment for adults.
The small seating area—why wooden seats were chosen is unclear, but they do have a natural, earthy feel.
There’s also a small faucet to wash up after playing before heading home.
The children’s playground at Guling Park is quite small, but it can be combined with nearby attractions like Jisui’an for a visit. However, driving here is not recommended as this residential area has no parking. There are simple restrooms on the other side of the park, or you can use the convenience stores nearby. We hope that while bringing your kids here to play, you’ll also teach them the importance of taking care of public property. Don’t forget to take your trash with you when leaving to help keep the park clean.
