The 2015 Taitung Hot Air Balloon Festival officially runs from June 27 to August 9. To make it more convenient for visitors from all over to attend the event, we’ve specially compiled five transportation options to the venue for reference. Additionally, on June 27, the opening night light show concert at Luye Gaotai will feature shuttle buses departing from Luye Train Station to the event venue, organized by Taitung County Government. We encourage the use of public transport to get to the venue.

● By Train
Visitors can take a train to “Luye Train Station,” then transfer to the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle — Valley Luye Line” bus to reach the “Luye Gaotai” event venue.
*Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Valley Luye Line [Luye Train Station] stop location: Exit Luye Train Station, walk straight along Zhongzheng Road for about three minutes to reach the stop.

Local bus services in the Luye area mainly consist of Dingdong Bus Mountain Line and the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - Valley Luye Line,” but only the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - Valley Luye Line” offers direct access to the Luye Gaotai venue.
