Japan’s thoughtful and attentive service in the little details is often considered the warmest surprise during a trip. A female netizen recently shared her experience on a business trip to Tokyo when she booked a ride with a local car rental service to Narita Airport.The driver not only prepared Starbucks coffee and snacks in the car ahead of time, but also attached a handwritten Chinese greeting note. Upon arriving at the airport, he even gave the netizen a small gift — an omamori he had purchased himself.His heartwarming gestures made her exclaim how thoughtful he was.

The netizen told ETtoday EBC News Cloud that on the afternoon of the 3rd, she took a taxi in Tokyo heading to Narita Airport. As soon as she got in the car, she saw the coffee and snacks the driver had prepared in advance, along with a handwritten note that read in Chinese: “How is your trip in Tokyo going? Have a safe journey. Hope to see you again soon.” It ended with the words “Have a safe flight!” She said she was deeply moved the moment she got in the car.

The driver’s thoughtful actions didn’t stop there. The netizen said that upon arriving at the airport, the driver also gave them an omamori he had bought as a small gift. He even watched them cross the street and walk into the airport before getting back in his car and leaving. Such a heartfelt service became the warmest and most memorable part of her trip to Japan.
