The lotus ponds in Erchong Lotus Park and the Artificial Wetland Phase III in Banqiao each cover approximately 0.3 hectares. Every summer, they burst into blooms of light red, yellow, light purple, and white. The beautiful and fragrant lotuses also attract dragonflies, water striders, loaches, turtles, frogs, and various amphibians, fish, insects, and wild birds.
