Come to Dajia for water fun — 20 water play facilities including canoes and water barrels are eye-catching

The “Dajia Kids' Fun – Summer Water Play” event, which kicked off with a bang on July 4, spans a vast 3-hectare site, making it Taipei’s first large-scale riverside water park. The venue features nearly 20 different play facilities, as well as the highly popular 40-meter “Bubble Mat Avenue.” In addition to children’s water play equipment, there are also attractions for adults such as canoes, inflatable water barrels, and water bicycles, all of which are very popular. From now until August 31, both kids and adults can come together to cool off and have fun.

The “Dajia Kids' Fun – Summer Water Play” event was first trialed in 2014 and attracted tens of thousands of participants in just nine days. This year, the event has been expanded once again, covering a 3-hectare area surrounding the iconic “Fountain of Hope” in Dajia. The fountain area has been transformed into a water playground for both kids and adults. The venue offers more than 10 play facilities, such as the 40-meter-long “Bubble Mat Avenue,” where children can slide down from the top of a small hill while being protected by air-filled barriers on both sides — thrilling and fun. In addition to children’s water play areas, the event also introduces facilities for adults, such as canoes, large inflatable water rollers, and water bicycles, making it a lot of fun for everyone.
