To welcome the arrival of Qixi Valentine’s Day, the Beimen Crystal Chapel is expected to light up again on Valentine’s Day. Tainan’s Beimen Visitor Center created the new attraction “Wedding Beauty Land” Crystal Chapel in 2014, drawing inspiration from the Sydney Opera House in Australia and St. Laguna Chapel (the Church by the Sea) in Guam, then integrating these crystal chapel concepts. The romantic and dreamy site attracted many visitors as soon as it opened, becoming even more enchanting when illuminated at night. At the same time, due to the Crystal Chapel’s overwhelming scenery attracting too many tourists, it caused dissatisfaction among local residents, so the Yunlin Management Office specially restricted the lighting of the Crystal Chapel, which was previously only turned on during Christmas and Lunar New Year.
