Itō Junji, who established himself as a legendary figure in Japanese horror manga with works such as the endlessly multiplying "Tomie" and the eerily floating "Balloon Heads" that pursue Toshiki while exuding a haunting black aesthetic, is scheduled to hold the "Itō Junji Horror Aesthetics Experience Exhibition" at Huashan 1914 Creative Park on December 14th, challenging fans to confront the darkest whirlpools within their hearts.

This exhibition takes "experiencing horror firsthand" as its starting point, featuring a diverse range of content that is highly anticipated. To ensure visitors can fully enjoy the exhibition in the most comfortable environment possible, the show from December 4th onwards will adopt an "advance reservation" system similar to that used during the World Expo, maintaining the highest quality viewing experience. Ticket holders can log in to the official reservation system on the Itō Junji Horror Aesthetics Experience Exhibition website and reserve entry slots using their ticket barcode. Those who do not make advance reservations can also enter on-site via a queuing system. In addition to a brand-new short story, exclusively created for this exhibition — another installment of "Balloon Heads" — the showcase will also feature recreations of classic horror scenes such as "Tomie" and "The Blood Tree." Fans may even get a glimpse into the author’s studio.

To allow fans to experience the charm of Itō Junji ahead of time, a limited edition of 10,000 "Special Edition Sets" — exclusively authorized by the "Itō Junji Horror Aesthetics Experience Exhibition" — went on sale exclusively via Books.com.tw starting August 17th. In addition to exhibition tickets, these sets include classic original manuscript postcards and notebooks exclusively by Itō Junji, available at a limited-time promotional price of NT$200 (original price NT$500), letting fans collect the timeless allure of the "dark icon" all in one go.
