Cycling Craze Sweeps the Nation: Vote for Taiwan’s Top 10 Cycling Routes

Cycling has become one of the most popular national sports in recent years, and its popularity has recently soared again thanks to the movie “Breaking Through the Wind.” Starting on the 13th, the Ministry of Education's Sports Administration launched a voting campaign for “Taiwan’s Top 10 Classic Cycling Routes,” selecting 32 cycling routes across Taiwan themed around happiness. The public was invited online to vote for the top ten classic cycling routes that best represent Taiwan’s cultural landscapes and connect with international standards.

Among the 32 cycling routes are Kaohsiung’s Love River Cycling Path featured in the movie “Breaking Through the Wind,” as well as Sun Moon Lake Cycling Path, which was once named by CNN as one of the most beautiful bike paths in the world. Fans can visit the “Taiwan’s Top 10 Classic Cycling Routes” page to cast their votes for their favorite cycling paths. After the campaign ends, a lucky draw will be held with prizes including round-trip international flight tickets on China Airlines and Giant bicycles. The voting will run until September 30.
