Located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi Seaside Park (Kokuei Hitachi Seaside Park) overturns common perceptions of autumn. Spanning an impressive 190 hectares, this seaside park is like a paradise of flowers. In addition to the surreal beauty of kokia grass in autumn, from September to late October, vast fields of cosmos flowers burst into brilliant bloom, presenting a heavenly scenic landscape.

● Cosmos Carnival at Rainbow Plaza, Taiyo no Oka Park, Engaru
Within its expansive 10-hectare grounds, up to tens of millions of cosmos flowers bloom, making it Japan’s largest cosmos garden. From mid-August to late September, cosmos in shades of pink, white, orange, and yellow will be in full bloom. A Cosmos Carnival event is also held at the park from now until October 4.
