The Cup Noodles Museum, once ranked as Japan’s coolest attraction by a foreign travel website, is themed around “creative thinking” and offers visitors an interactive experience to rediscover the history of instant and cup noodles, making it very popular with both domestic and international travelers. Now, to celebrate reaching 4 million visitors, the museum has introduced a quirky “cup noodles” ice cream starting in August, allowing everyone to try this sweet-and-salty novelty dessert.

The Cup Noodles ice cream is served in a cup noodles container and features two types of ice cream infused with subtle soy sauce and curry aromas. It is topped with toppings like shrimp, meat chunks, green onions, and carrots—classic cup noodle ingredients—to fully capture the “cup noodles” spirit. The sweet-and-salty flavor is quite unique, priced at 300 yen per cup (approximately 80 New Taiwan Dollars), available only as a limited summer release.
