Located within the Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Art Village in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, the Tetsu Tea House (Tea House Tetsu) was personally designed and built by renowned Japanese architect Terunobu Fujimori. Using natural materials, he constructed this treehouse teahouse atop a massive hinoki cypress trunk, exuding a serene and elegant Japanese charm. Though it appears to be supported only by the trunk, there's no need to worry too much—Terunobu Fujimori’s works have stood the test of storms and earthquakes. Just surrender yourself to the tea house and enjoy a tranquil tea-drinking moment steeped in rustic ambiance.

The best time to visit the Tetsu Tea House is in spring when the Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Art Village is surrounded by cherry blossoms. When in full bloom, the vibrant pink sea of flowers is breathtakingly beautiful, and the rustic teahouse, nestled in the cherry blossom sea, transforms into a fairy-tale精灵小屋, inviting visitors to dream the most beautiful dreams.
