As the name suggests, “Hasuto Barbershop” is a hostel that incorporates elements of a traditional barbershop. The second-generation owner of the barbershop wanted to change people’s stereotypical image of such places, so he transformed the shop that his mother ran for 40 years into a hostel—using old barber chairs as beds and providing guests with their own private accommodations.
