Autumn and winter bring not only the continuation of natural beauty but also the spectacular display of crimson leaves. The Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, situated in a mountainous region, sees dramatic day-night temperature shifts during these seasons. A variety of color-changing plants, including green maple, trident maple, and red maple, follow the typical flowering order of the Acer family. Starting in October and November, they gradually transform into enchanting and romantic red foliage.
