Starting October 16, passengers can use an EasyCard to board the light rail free of charge at C1 Lizizai Station (at the intersection of Ketagalan Boulevard and Yixin Road). The first train departs at 9:00 AM, and the last at 6:30 PM, with trains running every 30 minutes for a total of 20 services. No boarding or alighting will be allowed mid-route. Passengers can ride from C1 to C4 and then return to C1.

To avoid long queues for passengers eager to try the service, the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation has planned a reservation system
◎ Each service will have 120 reservation slots available, along with 30 spots for walk-in passengers. Those who wish to ride on-site must queue up on the day to collect a trial ride ticket. Each person may collect up to 4 tickets, but only for the same service.
