Southern Taiwan boasts breathtaking ecological wonders and abundant natural resources. The stunning interplay of mountains, seas, and nature is enriched by deep cultural heritage, making any trip to the region feel like exploring hidden paradises. The seven major cities and counties — Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Penghu — each present unique scenic highlights, local cuisines, specialties, and cultural charm, attracting visitors all year round.

Co-issued by the Tourism Bureau and other partners, the “Southern Taiwan Travel Passport” has entered its tenth edition. It can be obtained at expressways, TRA train stations, THSR stations, MRT stations, post offices, and Tourism Bureau visitor centers. In addition, it was distributed at the 2015 International Travel Fair and overseas locations including Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Malaysia. Digital versions such as an e-book and app were also launched, allowing travelers to download them for free. Even without a physical copy, users can still make full use of the content.
