Netizens commented that during long and tedious layovers, Taoyuan Airport provides a relaxing and comfortable environment. In addition to free Wi-Fi, travelers can also explore cultural exhibitions to pass the time. One of the most impressive features of Taoyuan Airport is its "themed lounges," which include Hello Kitty, Taiwanese tea, Taiwanese music “悦” (pleasure), and movies, leaving a deep impression on visitors.

The Sleeping in Airports website invites international travelers to rate their airport experiences every year. Each participant can vote for only one airport, with no limit on the number of airports they may have visited. The 2015 survey ran from September 2, 2014, to September 7, 2015, collecting 26,297 valid questionnaires. The evaluation criteria included overall airport experience, terminal cleanliness, facilities, customer service, comfort, and sleep-friendliness.
