Mika Ninagawa, a renowned Japanese photographer and director famous for her lavish and vivid floral photography, is holding her first-ever solo exhibition in Taichung titled 《Eternal Scape: Eternal Scenery》. Combining imagery, water trays, and real flowers, the exhibition presents an even more uniquely stunning and gorgeous effect—absolutely breathtaking！

The 2018 Taichung Flower Expo had many highlights, one of the biggest being Mika Ninagawa’s design of one of the exhibition areas in the Flower Dance Pavilion within the Houli Horse Ranch venue.

Mika Ninagawa’s most iconic works revolve around flowers, so the 《Eternal Scape: Eternal Scenery》 exhibition also centers on floral themes. In addition to flat photographic works, the exhibition also features pieces that incorporate imagery, water trays, and real flowers—such as an installation art piece surrounded by colorful fresh blooms, where the flowers gradually fade to colorless before revealing the imagery and water trays.
Stepping into Mika Ninagawa’s solo exhibition venue, you will undoubtedly be drawn in by the dreamy, dazzlingly vibrant décor. Not only are the artworks spectacular, but the exhibition space itself is a burst of color, featuring a ceiling covered in colorful baby’s breath and spaces enveloped by dried flowers—utterly gorgeous and perfect for both viewing and photos！

The venue for Mika Ninagawa’s solo exhibition is located within the Flower Dance Pavilion in the Houli Horse Ranch venue. It is designed as a long-term orchid exhibition showcasing the development history of Taiwan’s orchid industry.
