Taiwan's First Disney-Certified General Store Zakka House Opens

Taiwan’s first officially authorized Disney general merchandise store, Zakka House, officially opened on the second floor of Breeze Song Gao in Taipei’s Xinyi District on December 9. From now on, Disney fans won’t need to fly abroad — they can purchase officially licensed Disney merchandise right here in Taiwan.

Covering an area of 38 ping (approx. 125.6 square meters), Zakka House was designed and decorated by a renowned Japanese design team. The space uses black-and-white silhouettes of Disney characters as the main visual theme and incorporates the currently popular Brooklyn-style motif to create a fresh and adorable shopping environment. Operating as a concept store, Zakka House primarily targets women aged 18 to 40 and sells imported Disney household goods and gift items.

In addition to importing Japanese-designed products, Zakka House also offers many items imported from Europe and America, as well as locally developed licensed merchandise in Taiwan. Each product is developed and designed by professional vendors in their respective fields, achieving high standards in both practicality and craftsmanship. Notably, Zakka House stocks many items not available at Disney’s own retail stores, including exclusive Mickey and Minnie carpets and curtains in Taiwan, as well as Japan-limited lifestyle accessories such as tableware, toys, eyeglass cases, nail stickers, and other collectible small items.
