Since 2005, EVA Air has collaborated with Japan’s Sanrio to launch the HELLO KITTY series of themed aircraft, retaining EVA Air’s green tail fin and fuselage lettering while deliberately using the all-white fuselage as a canvas, painted with creatively designed HELLO KITTY illustrations. Not only are the exteriors adorable and story-rich, but the HELLO KITTY-themed meals and service items in the cabin have also become hugely popular among passengers.

This series of collaborations culminated in 2015 with the launch of the seventh and final Hello Kitty Starry Sky aircraft on the Taipei–Houston route. EVA Air will continue to serve Taiwanese passengers with these seven HELLO KITTY aircraft. Below is a summary of the seven aircraft, and for fans who haven’t yet flown on a HELLO KITTY plane, it’s time to plan a trip with Kitty.

● Magic Plane HELLO KITTY WITH MAGIC STARS
The “Magic Plane” features the theme “Hello Kitty with Magic Star.” The Kitty on the fuselage waves a magic wand, flying off on a joyful, dreamlike journey with Hello Kitty’s family and friends on both sides of the aircraft.
