Universal Studios' Minions-themed room revealed — early booking info now available!

In 2015, Universal Studios Osaka launched the Minions-themed area "Minion Plaza," attracting numerous fans to make a pilgrimage. Later, various seasonal events introduced many limited-time Minions-themed initiatives. Meanwhile, "Universal Port Hotel," located next to Universal Studios Japan, celebrated its 10th anniversary by decorating the hotel with a Minions theme starting in summer. From the entrance to the lobby, yellow Minions could be seen everywhere. Entering 2016, the hotel went a step further by launching Minions-themed rooms, which became available for online reservation starting January 18, with check-in possible from April!

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Universal Port Hotel began decorating the hotel entrance, reception hall, elevators, and other areas with a Minions theme from mid-July 2015. Building on the enduring popularity of the Minions, the hotel launched a Minions-themed suite in 2016, with the entire room, walls, and bed linens covered in Minions patterns to accompany guests as they sleep. Additionally, guests staying in the Minions suite can receive a limited-edition shopping bag and calendar co-branded with the Minions and Universal Port Hotel. Online reservations began on January 18, 2016, with check-in available as early as April. Fans of the Minions visiting Universal Studios should not only check out the Minions-themed area but also consider spending a night at Universal Studios Port Hotel!
