Taiwanese bubble tea has become popular worldwide and is almost a must-try delicacy for international visitors to Taiwan. Now, Yilan has also launched the world’s first “Bubble Tea Culture Museum,” featuring its eye-catching light bulb bubble tea that’s full of novelty. It has sparked quite a discussion online, especially since only 80 cups are available each day and it’s not available without a prior reservation.

Yilan’s “Qili Bay” Bubble Tea Culture Museum is Taiwan’s first cultural exhibition venue themed around bubble tea. Here, you can experience DIY bubble tea activities, guided tours, and more. The surrounding wetlands also offer beautiful scenery, making it a great destination for weekend outings. The museum also serves meals, and ordering a set meal comes with a complimentary light bulb bubble tea. A single cup is priced at NT$88.

Currently, the “Qili Bay” Bubble Tea Culture Museum is still in its trial operation phase and will officially open in February. To taste the light bulb bubble tea, you need to make a phone reservation in advance, and it is only available for consumption on-site, not for takeout.
