600,000 tulips in full bloom – Peach Blossom Valley resembles a fairyland

Spring has arrived, and not only are cherry and plum blossoms blooming one after another, but it’s also the season for tulips to flower. Starting from January every year, vast fields of tulips burst into delicate pink hues across the Peach Blossom Valley park grounds, with shades of pink, purple, red, yellow... and more than ten colors. With approximately 60 varieties and as many as 600,000 tulips blooming all at once, they form a rainbow-colored sea of flowers. Layer upon layer, they interweave into a rich and vibrant tapestry, attracting travelers from near and far to visit and experience an extraordinary romantic atmosphere.

Peach Blossom Valley is located in Changxing Village, Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, nestled within the mountainous border area between Taoyuan City and Hsinchu County. Covering approximately 200 hectares, the park preserves the natural landscape of the mountains and forests, including 100 hectares of afforestation, 20,000 ornamental cherry and plum trees, over 2,000 species of herbaceous plants and shrubs. The floral scenery you can enjoy at Peach Blossom Valley changes every year. Here, you can find almost every variety of tulip in the world, with different shapes and colors. Combined with the valley’s terrain, they come together to form a constantly shifting, colorful floral carpet. In addition to tulips, Peach Blossom Valley also grows more than 3,000 plum trees, which continue to blossom until the Lunar New Year. Soon after, over 10,000 double-flowered cherry trees begin to bloom, transforming the valley into a dreamy, fairy-tale-like wonderland — perfect for a spring outing.
