A long-abandoned old station in Manhattan, USA, the "Old City Hall Station," has recently reopened after being unused for 70 years. This station preserves the urban design of its time intact and is hailed as the most beautiful station in Manhattan.

The "Old City Hall Station" opened on October 27, 1904, and was the main station on the Manhattan line at the time. Because the Old City Hall Station could only accommodate trains with five carriages, by 1940, most stations had been modified to accommodate ten-car trains, leading to the closure of this station — a closure that lasted 70 years. This station still retains the only Roman Revival-style design in the railway system of that era. During the day, natural light streams in through the glass skylights, while at night, brass chandeliers provide illumination. Everywhere you look, the urban aesthetics of the time are on display, earning it the reputation as the most beautiful station in Manhattan.
