From around the Spring Festival holiday to March is a wonderful season when all things come back to life and flowers bloom. In addition to the annual Camellia Festival, which kicks off on the 22nd, delicate and beautiful mountain cherry blossoms are also blooming one after another, attracting many tourists to enjoy the flowers and take photos.

Visiting Yangmingshan to admire the flowers has always been a popular springtime activity. Not only can visitors enjoy the blossoms and go for outings during the holidays, but they can also drive to soak in hot springs or explore the North Coast—making for a fulfilling trip. This year’s flower festival events first launched at the Parks and Streetscapes Office's Flower Trial Center, featuring tens of thousands of camellias and over 70 popular camellia potted plant displays.
