Mitsui Outlet Park: A Family Paradise PLUS SEGA with 80,000-Ball Pool is Super Fun

The Mitsui Outlet Park in Linkou has officially opened, featuring over 200 brands and restaurants. In addition to providing a delightful shopping experience for adults, there’s also a perfect spot for families to enjoy together — PLUS SEGA, established by the Japanese gaming company SEGA. Breaking away from the traditional image of SEGA, this PLUS SEGA is the first SEGA store in history without any gaming machines.

LOCATED on the second floor of Mitsui Outlet Park, PLUS SEGA is an all-new family interactive space. It features four major game zones created using interactive projection equipment imported from Japan and South Korea, aiming to encourage shared play between parents and children. Highlights include a massive ball pool consisting of 80,000 blue plastic balls, which also houses a boat that can launch balls via cannon — fun and exciting for all. There’s also an interactive aquarium and animal forest zone where kids can draw their own original creatures on color sheets printed with outlines of fish and forest animals. Interestingly, once scanned, these drawings come to life in the projected aquarium and forest, swimming freely or running around. When approached, the animals will even curiously move closer to interact with visitors both young and old.
