●Brown Line—Zhongyong Mountain & Liyu Mountain Hiking Trails
Among the hiking trails, there is the beautifully scenic Yuange Waterfall. As you walk up the trail, you’ll be accompanied by the murmuring sound of the stream, creating a very tranquil environment. Alternatively, you can exit from Exit 1 of Neihu Station and take Bus Xia No. 2 to the Baishihu area near the trail to explore the famous “Baishihu Suspension Bridge.”
Transportation info: Take the MRT to Dahu Park Station, Exit 1. After exiting, follow the signs and enter the hiking trail via Dahu Villa.

●Brown Line—Dahu Park
Right next to Dahu Park Station is Dahu Park, the most famous park in the Neihu area. When you come here, you must not miss the renowned Rhododendron Bridge and Zigzag Bridge. The vast greenery and the beautiful scenery by the mountains and water make the park very suitable for family outings.

●Tamsui-Xinyi Line—Guandu Hiking Trail & Zhongyi Mountain Loop Trail
The Guandu Hiking Trail is located on the northern side of the Guandu Plain and offers views of the Tamsui River. After walking along the trail for some time, you’ll see the entrance to the Zhongyi Mountain Hiking Trail. This trail is steeper, with mostly dirt and rocky surfaces along the way. If you’re physically fit, you might want to come here for a workout hike.
Transportation info: Take the MRT to Guandu Station. Get off at Exit 2, turn right, and walk about 10 to 15 minutes following the signs to reach the trailhead of the Guandu Hiking Trail at Lane 30, Section 4, Zhongyang North Road. By following the Guandu Hiking Trail, you can connect to the entrance of the Zhongyi Mountain Loop Trail.

●Tamsui-Xinyi Line—Jianjian Rock Hiking Trail
The Jianjian Rock Hiking Trail is located within the Datun Mountain Range and is suitable for a family hiking workout. The panoramic view from the summit is breathtaking. Alternatively, you can choose to go up the mountain in the afternoon and stay to enjoy the beautiful sight of the lights of Greater Taipei after nightfall.
Transportation info: Take the MRT to Shipai Station. Get off at Exit 1 and walk straight to Yangming University. One of the trailheads is located behind the Yangming University campus.
●Tamsui-Xinyi Line—Xiangshan Hiking Trail
Xiangshan is named for its resemblance to an elephant’s head. Speaking of Xiangshan, it’s most famous for offering a full view of Taipei 101 and is also a great spot to watch the Taipei 101 fireworks show during New Year’s Eve. In addition to enjoying the bustling cityscape of Taipei, the trail is also rich in natural landscapes along the way, making it perfect for bringing children along for a refreshing hike to the top.
Transportation info: Take the MRT to Xiangshan Station. Get off at Exit 2 and walk about 10 to 15 minutes toward Zhongqiang Park to reach the trailhead.
