Famous cherry blossom viewing spots in the front mountain area of Taoyuan’s North Cross-Island includeDongyanshan (East Eye Mountain),Jiaobanshan (Angle Plate Mountain),Ren’ai Cherry Blossom Garden,Shilang Cherry Blossom Trailand other attractions where the cherry blossom season is already in full swing. The main mountain cherry blossom viewing spots in the back mountain area includeShenmu Road(Taoyuan Route 116(municipal road),Sanguiguan Scenic Platform,Valley Point CaféandBiyawai,Gaoyi Lan Tribal Area,as well asHegaowan Cherry Blossom Story Tree Lane. 2016 North Cross-Island Highway Cherry Blossom Season Shuttle Bus Information
February 20–21, February 27–29, and March 5–6, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, the shuttle route runs between the Balong Bridge and the Shangbalong Parking Lot, with stops including Balong Bridge, Lala Mountain Tourism Service Center, Gu Point Coffee, Central Balong Cherry Blossom Avenue, Guangming Farm, Shangbalong Parking Lot, in front of Shangbalong Police Station, Three Turtles Playing in Water Viewpoint, Central Balong Cherry Blossom Avenue, and Helipad (Balong Ancient Trail Area). Shuttle buses run approximately every 20 minutes.
