The Tokyo Metro one-day pass is a transit ticket sold mainly to business travelers from outside Tokyo and foreign tourists. With this pass, you can ride any of the 13 routes—including Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway—unlimited times within a set period, making it very convenient. Originally, the one-day pass allowed unlimited rides on those 13 subway lines from the time of purchase until the last train, but after the reform on the 26th, it allows unlimited rides for 24 hours from the time you first use it.

For example, if you buy a 24-hour Tokyo Metro Pass after the March 26 reform and start using it at 10 AM on the 27th, it will be valid until 10 AM on the 28th (the 48-hour and 72-hour passes follow the same logic). The prices remain unchanged at 800, 1200, and 1500 yen. By using the Tokyo Metro transit pass wisely, not only is it convenient, but it can also help travelers save quite a bit of money.
