Every year, the Tai'an Cherry Blossom Season is highly anticipated by blossom lovers. In 2019, it began on February 16, but due to the warm winter, by mid-February, only around 10% of the flowers had bloomed. Those planning to go cherry blossom viewing are recommended to keep an eye on the updates regarding the blossom conditions posted on the Tai'an Police Station’s fan page.

The "Tai'an Cherry Blossom Season" is jointly organized by the Taichung City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau and the Houli District Office. Nearly 100 pink and cheerful cherry blossom trees are planted along a 200-meter stretch of Anmei Road, making it one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Taichung. With their soft hues and romantic ambiance, the blossoms beautifully adorn the rural road. Both the Tai'an Police Station and Tai'an Elementary School offer lovely cherry blossom views.

To facilitate visitors' blossom viewing, shuttle bus services have been arranged. From February 16 to March 3, during holidays (namely February 16, 17, 23, 24, 28, and March 1, 2, 3 — eight holiday days in total), special shuttle buses are provided for blossom viewers. The service runs from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with a break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM), with a bus approximately every 8–10 minutes. The route goes from Taichung Railway Station’s Tai'an Station (new station) to Anmei Road. Visitors are welcome to take the TRA local train to Tai'an Station and then transfer to the dedicated cherry blossom shuttle bus.

Besides Wuling Farm, visiting the Tai'an Police Station to see the cherry blossoms is also a great choice, especially since it is close to a railway station and enjoys good public transport accessibility. Nearby attractions include Tai'an Station, the Dajia River Flower Truss Steel Bridge, and the Taichung Earthquake Recovery Memorial Monument. Also recommended for a side trip are the millennium-old camphor tree at nearby Yuemei Sugar Refinery, the Houli Saxophone Cultural Museum, and the tulip sea at the nearby Zhongshe Flower Market.
