The cabin is designed to offer passengers a more authentic Japanese service experience. It emphasizes that as soon as you board, you’re greeted by the scent of igusa (rush grass) from the tatami. The entire cabin features Japanese-style tatami seating (cushions available for an additional 500 yen each), storage racks crafted by local bamboo weaving artisans from Kyoto, and a Japanese-style restroom — a first in the aviation industry. Flight attendants are dressed in kimonos, while the captain is dressed as a samurai, making everyone wonder what kind of flight experience this will be.

The first two rows offer a foot bath experience, and there are sunken kotatsu-style seats in the center aisles, providing warmth for passengers during winter. The journey also includes sumo performances by male flight attendants and exciting taiko drum shows. The onboard menu also features meticulously prepared, authentic matcha beverages by renowned tea masters. All iconic elements of Japanese culture are fully presented on board, making it the most traditional and authentic Japanese-style cabin experience.
