The 2016 Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival will take place at the Dongshan River Water Park from July 2 to August 14. This year’s theme is “Childlike Innocence,” featuring games, performances, and entertainment. Visitors can expect an immersive experience full of fun. Pre-sale tickets go on sale starting June 1 and are available at all four major convenience store chains nationwide, as well as through the official online ticketing system.

This year’s festival invites 19 performance troupes from 16 countries including Russia, Japan, and Slovakia, as well as outstanding teams from Taiwan to take part. The much-anticipated water play area has been designed with a cute animal theme—fun in appearance and still packed with thrills.

From now until July 1, the public can purchase pre-sale tickets at all four major convenience store chains and through the festival’s online ticketing system. Holiday tickets are priced at NT$300 and weekday tickets at NT$200, both NT$50 cheaper than during the event period. Holders of E.SUN Bank credit cards can enjoy further discounts when purchasing on-site during the event—holiday tickets for NT$250 and weekday tickets for NT$150. The park is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closing one hour earlier than in previous years.
