The newly built "Shinobi Ko Skywalk" in Fengbin Township, Hualien, spans 170 meters and is constructed along a steep cliff. The walkway features transparent reinforced glass underneath. As you stroll along, one side is a rugged cliff face, and the other offers sweeping views of the vast Pacific Ocean, with a sheer drop beneath your feet — an exhilarating and heart-pounding experience. The Fengbin Township Office plans to open it before the end of the year.

The skywalk route follows an ancient path of the local indigenous people. Legend has it that a woman carrying her child across the cliff became so nervous during the trek that she didn’t realize her child had disappeared until after she had crossed. This place was thus named "Shinobi Ko Cliff," meaning even the bond between parent and child could not overcome the peril of the cliff.

Fengbin Township is developing a brand-new "Shinobi Ko Skywalk" to showcase the historic charm of the old trail. It is currently undergoing final inspections, and facilities such as the parking lot and tunnel surroundings are not yet completed. The site is expected to open to the public before the end of the year. The Fengbin Township Office strongly advises against unauthorized entry to avoid potential danger.
