Japan’s popular queue-worthy food “BAKE CHEESE TART” cheese tarts have opened their first Taiwan branch on June 15 at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Nanxi 3rd Store. Also available is the premium milk gelato, which was only sold at the Japanese flagship store, now enjoyed right here in Taiwan. Each BAKE CHEESE TART cheese tart is priced at NT$70, or NT$390 for a box of six.

The filling of BAKE CHEESE TART cheese tarts is made from a special blend of three different types of cheese. The semi-finished product is made in Japan, then frozen and shipped to Taiwan where it is baked in ovens of the same standard as those in Japan. The “double-baking method” gives the crust an especially crispy texture, allowing Taiwanese customers to enjoy the same delicious taste as in Japan.
