A foreign media outlet ranked the world’s most popular theme parks based on 2015 attendance figures, selecting the top 25. Japan’s Disneyland and Universal Studios, also beloved by Taiwanese visitors, ranked in the top five. Disney-themed parks took up 10 spots on the list, along with many other well-known Asian parks.
1. United States – Walt Disney World in Florida

In 2015, Walt Disney World in Florida welcomed over 20 million visitors, making it a must-visit theme park for many travelers. Having held the top spot for several years, the park continues to bring dreams and joy to its guests. The castle in the park is modeled after the one from the cartoon Cinderella.
2. United States – Disneyland in California

Located just a 20-minute drive from downtown Los Angeles, Disneyland in California is perfect for family outings. The park features numerous Disney characters and movie scenes, with its most iconic feature being the large castle from Sleeping Beauty.
3. Japan – Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland is Asia’s first Disney theme park, divided into seven major themed areas. It attracts over 10 million visitors annually, and its iconic castle, also from Cinderella, stands 5 feet taller than the one in Florida.
4. Japan – Universal Studios Japan in Osaka

Universal Studios Japan in Osaka is one of the world’s four major Universal Studios theme parks. Its signature Harry Potter Wizarding World is a must-do attraction for every visitor, featuring a full-scale recreation of Hogwarts Castle.
