The Taichung Taroko New Era Shopping Mall has installed two sky slides inside the complex, standing 9 meters high and stretching 16 meters in length. Sliding down takes as little as 9 seconds, offering an exhilarating and thrilling experience. Trial operations are underway from now until June 30, with official opening on July 1.

Taroko New Era has imported two large stainless steel slides from Germany, spanning from the second to the third floor. The third-floor slide is 16 meters long and 9.4 meters high, while the second-floor slide is 11.5 meters long and 5.2 meters high. Both have passed EU Declaration of Conformity and SGS safety inspections for children's playgrounds, ensuring high-speed fun with top-level safety.

From now until June 30, residents of East District, Taichung City, can experience the second-floor slide once for free by presenting their ID card. During the opening period from July 1 to July 31, the second-floor slide is priced at NT$40 per ride (original price NT$60), and the third-floor slide at NT$60 per ride (original price NT$90). Visitors are reminded that the sky slides have age, height, and weight restrictions, and are not suitable for those with cardiovascular conditions or pregnant women.
