Taoyuan Airport has planned the relocation and upgrade of the WC taxiway to a two-way system, expanding from a single line to a dual-line taxiway. To meet the needs of the two-phase construction, traffic routes to and from the airport via national expressways will be adjusted successively. Travel times during peak hours will increase, so travelers are advised to arrive at the airport earlier.

The first phase of the plan involves closing part of the road leading to the airport from the highway (Terminal South Road) for construction, rerouting traffic through the expanded Terminal North Road. During the second phase, the section from the Terminal North Road underpass to the China Airlines campus will be closed for construction. The speed limit will be reduced from the current 70 km/h to 50 km/h, and travel times during peak hours are expected to increase by 15 to 20 minutes.

Taoyuan Airport plansthe relocation and upgrade of the WC taxiway to a two-way system. To avoid disruptions caused by traffic changes, passengers are urged to arrive at the airport 2.5 to 3 hours before their flight departure. It is also recommended to use public transportation whenever possible. Drivers are reminded to follow airport traffic signs carefully during the adjustments.
