The 2016 Taipei Water Festival kicks off on June 25 and runs until August 31 at the Gongguan Water Park. In addition to the existing Water Village Garden, temporary water play facilities will be installed to provide more space for visitors to enjoy the water and relax. Additionally, through a series of activities including water play facilities, diverse events, and environmental education courses, participants can learn about healthy water play, ecological environments, and cultural arts.

This year, in particular, the festival has partnered with the Taipei City Government’s Council of Indigenous Peoples to jointly host a series of Aboriginal cultural events throughout July and August. In addition to Aboriginal-style food and product promotion booths set up every Saturday and Sunday (July 2 to August 28) at the Water Park, a series of exciting performances will also take place starting July 9.

The 2016 Taipei Water Festival runs from June 25 to August 31 at the Water Park. General admission is NT$80, children's tickets are NT$50, and children under 115 cm tall or under 6 years old enter free. Everyone is welcome to come to the Water Park to cool off, enjoy the water, and have a refreshing summer.
