Originating from Japan, Kyushu Pancake Café, which upholds healthiness and sincere hospitality to touch customers, launches a Taiwan-exclusive menu starting July 1st to welcome the peak of summer. The new savory dish, “Kyushu Big Energy Pancake Brunch,” captures the essence of an English brunch, featuring eight types of nutritionally balanced ingredients in a hearty portion available all day, as well as the “Kyushu Special Cook’s Wife Pancake,” inspired by the concept of 1910s Parisian cafés and full of exotic charm. These two dishes not only offer upgraded portions but also bring an unprecedented new texture experience. Kyushu Pancake also introduces a variety of refreshing drinks to keep customers feeling healthy and energized from morning to night.

Kyushu Big Energy Pancake Brunch (available all day): Carefully selected with locally sourced fresh vegetables and ingredients from Taiwan, including halved and lightly seared Big Red Bull tomatoes that fully release lycopene, crispy bacon, boiled German-style white sausage, freshly sautéed mushrooms, and potato balls—all creating rich and perfect accompaniments. Paired with two slices of seven-grain plain pancakes, it ensures non-stop energy for the whole day.

The Cook’s Wife Pancake originates from a traditional French cheese sandwich on the 1910 Paris café menu. Kyushu draws inspiration from this and incorporates classic ingredients. It is layered with three slices of seven-grain plain pancakes at the base, filled with ham, onions, and potato slices, topped with rich white sauce and cheese, and finished with a perfectly sunny-side-up egg resembling a cook’s wife’s hat—thus completing the “Kyushu Special Cook’s Wife Pancake.”

In addition, with the arrival of the sweltering summer heat, Kyushu also introduces a variety of refreshing and fruity new Fruit Sensation Smoothies. Made by blending pure natural fruits into a smooth texture, these smoothies include real, tangy fruit chunks inside the cup. The transparent cup is also adorned with fruit stickers designed by the chef on the inner side, while the top is piled high with visually stunning fresh fruits. The drink texture is further enhanced, offering a new way to enjoy fruits.

To continue the trend of Japanese-style matcha flavors, the shop carefully selects Uji Matcha from Kyoto’s Oguraen and Hokkaido Tokachi red beans, along with a refreshing Matcha Smoothie. The evenly smooth-textured Matcha Smoothie is paired with chewy and bouncy Japanese mochi pearls to create the “Kyoto Uji Oguraen Matcha Smoothie.” Topped with melt-in-your-mouth whipped cream, it allows matcha lovers to fully experience the rich flavors of Uji, Kyoto.
