Taiwan’s first typhoon of the year, the powerful Typhoon Nepartak, is making its way in. The sea warning was issued at 2:30 PM on July 6, and the land warning was issued at 8:30 PM on July 6. All regions across Taiwan have stepped up their responses. On the morning of July 7, normal operations and classes resumed island-wide. Whether to suspend work and classes in the afternoon of July 7 will be announced based on conditions in various areas. Flight schedules were also announced by airlines on the morning of July 7. Taiwan Railways
Before 4:00 PM on July 7, all trains across all service levels operated normally. The Alishan Forest Railway main line ran as usual, while branch lines (Alishan to Zhapingshan, Zhushan, and Shenshu) operated normally before 12:00 PM.
After 4:00 PM, scheduled trains on the Eastern Trunk Line gradually suspended service; after 6:00 PM, trains on the Western Trunk Line began suspending operations.

The Su-Hua Highway closed the southbound lane in Su’ao and the northbound lane in Chongde starting 1:00 PM, prohibiting entry onto the highway, and fully closed at 3:00 PM.
Sections of Yilan Provincial Highways 7 and 7A prohibited entry from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with early warning closure at 3:00 PM.
On the Freeway Wuyang Viaduct, under strong wind alerts, speed limits were set at 70 km/h and large buses were banned when average wind speeds reached level 7. When winds hit level 8, speed limits were reduced to 40 km/h, and the viaduct closed entirely when winds reached level 10.

Taoyuan: Flights canceled before 12:00; long-haul flights originally scheduled to return to Taiwan in the early morning will be delayed and arrive successively after 12:00.
Songshan: Flights operating normally; however, AE211 (Songshan–Fuzhou) will be delayed.
Taichung: All flights canceled for the day.
Tainan: All flights canceled for the day.
Kaohsiung: Flights canceled before 14:00.
Mandarin Airlines: All domestic flights after 14:00 on July 7 are canceled. For international routes, Hong Kong–Taichung (AE1832/1842) is canceled. Seoul–Taipei (AE231) is canceled. Kaohsiung–Seoul (AE960) departs earlier at 15:30. Wuhan–Taichung (AE956) is postponed to July 8.
EVA Air and UNI Air
EVA Air: Today (July 7), BR61 (Taipei–Bangkok–Vienna) and BR87 (Taipei–Paris) will depart earlier at 21:30.
EVA Air: Today (July 7), BR16 (Taipei–Los Angeles) and BR28 (Taipei–San Francisco) will depart earlier at 22:00.
EVA Air: Today (July 7), BR26 (Taipei–Seattle) will depart earlier at 23:00.
EVA Air: Flights scheduled to arrive in Taiwan in the early morning of tomorrow (July 8) will be delayed and arrive successively after 09:00 on July 8.
