It has been twenty years since the passing of the legendary Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski. To honor this cinematic master, distributor Tianma Xingkong presents the digitally restored classic editions of his four most famous films: The Double Life of Véronique, Blue, White, and Red. Following the successful release of The Double Life of Véronique (Digitally Restored) in March, which received an overwhelming response from film fans, the "Blue, White, and Red" trilogy will also return to the silver screen in July, granting moviegoers the chance to enjoy all three in one go.

Director Krzysztof Kieślowski was famously meticulous and perfectionistic — he even insisted that the scene where a sugar cube is soaked in coffee should show the discoloration happen over exactly five seconds. But the young and graceful Juliette Binoche, full of character, wasn’t one to be intimidated by the master. During one scene, when the director criticized her performance for differing from the rehearsal, she couldn't help but retort, “I’m not a robot!”

Blue (Digitally Restored) tells the story of a couple of musicians who take their daughter on a car trip, only to be involved in a fatal accident along the way. Both the husband and daughter die instantly, leaving the wife, Julie, as the sole survivor. This tragedy also leads Julie to uncover a long-buried secret of her husband’s.

Julie’s husband was a renowned symphonic composer working on a yet-to-be-completed anthem for the European Union. Heartbroken, Julie decides to reclaim her true freedom and let go of the past — even discarding the unfinished manuscript left behind by her husband — and embarks on a new life. Amid orchestral music, Julie embarks on an emotional journey filled with conflict and inner struggle.
